He gave me a quote and began work on my house. First visit went ok, I paid cash at the start-never pay cash at the start I have learned because then he got a called and needed to leave, I asked for money back for time he wouldn't work that day-he said no he would "work it out later", strange.

Second visit, after a month of "I will come work next week" I noticed he was off. Disorganized, muscles in jaw spasming and he smelled like chemicals, sweating a lot, black eyes, kinda jerky in movement and attitude, aggressive and after arriving he decided not to do the job we discussed on the phone and he just redid the job from last time-sooooo strange. Took 25 minute breaks and disappeared. Got phone calls he would leave to take.

I googled signs and it came up meth head. That was the last time he will be doing handyman work for me or any of my family. The items he stole were inexpensive but meaningful to me. When I found one of them and tried to take it back he snarled that it was his. Ok it is yours, lol. Never have taken meth or been around it before, Now I know what it looks like and can avoid future meth handymen.

Lessons learned, do not pay up front, look at actions and signs of drug use. From what Ive read they will do anything and everything for the next hit, and they are not thinking about the job you have hired them to complete.
