I purchased a 2004 Ford E450 in August, 2010. listed on EBAY by Millennium Auto Sales. The video showed the vehicle running, It did not move , but the engine did run. I was told by the owner of Millennium, that the transmission was recently overhauled with all new parts by his mechanic, but was still slipping. He said it needed tires also.

He also stated the engine ran good. I would have never bid on and purchased this vehicle if it had any engine problems. These 6.0 Ford Diesel engines are very expensive to repair and all parts are expensive. The fuel injectors alone are close to $250 each , and it uses 8 of them. I purchased it and then paid an additional $500.00  for delivery. I thought that EBAY had a buyers guarantee that was for 30 days. If there was a problem, I would just turn it over to EBAY.

Then the problems started. Paul Jones told me that his trucking company was finishing up a contract and it would be a week or so. This dragged on till well after the EBAY 30 day warranty was up. Then he tells me the truck won't start now, but he would get it fixed. To make a long story short , this dragged on for 6 months. I was very patient and belived all his lies. He finally said it was running and put it on a delivery truck that broke down and delayed the delivery for another month. When I finall got the van , it would not start and had to be pushed off the delivery trailer and pushed to my house.

When I got a chance to check it out, I could not believe what I found. Inside, on the floor of the van was the intake tubing from the turbo to the intake manifold, the air cleaner was in the floor also, under the hood was pieces of tubing completely bypassing the turbo and there were bent and broken fuel lines and  wires every where. There is no way this engine was running. I will be filing a lawsuit against this rip off Dealer and I will get justice. Paul talks a good story , but behind it all , he is just another used car con man.

Ripped Off Too

AUTHOR: sadfamilymember - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, July 09, 2011

I was frauded by this company and its associates as well and suspect the "Trucking Company" that is being reffered to, is in fact Millennium Auto Sales.  Then again that is just speculation as I was told too many conflicting stories to count when they stole my vehicle.  Seven months later, and still no money, $18,000.00.  It is in the hands of the local Police Department now, but  I too was given the run around until my course of action was very limited.  Sorry to hear they are using these tactics.  I will be filing a report on this website as well. Perhaps we can save a few other trusting people the nightmare we have endured.

you should file a report on the trucking company.  They had a hand in this too.  They probably made a few bucks from that "stripping" of your vehicle.  Plus it's their fault you couldn't claim your "buyer protection" or whatever.

Bye Bye!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Let's see...you buy a used car sight unseen. The day you made the decision to enter this stupid transaction, apparently your common sense went bye bye and declared a leave of abscence. Should car dealers be honest? Of course they should. But consumers, given the nature of the business, should exercise common sense rather than buying a "pig in a poke".
