Miller & Levine Inc Unprofessional / Possible Fraud / Deceptive Business Practices / Failure to Pay Bogart, Georgia

We placed an account with Miller & Levine for collections and helped them negotiate a settlement in May, 2010. Shortly thereafter, we were told "as soon as the funds clear, we will mail you a check". Then, we placed 4 more accounts with them for collection, including one in which we provided a Default Judgment from the court. For 2 of the others, we were told "Company has not filed bankruptcy, we have verified funds are available, you need to give us $1200 for each of these accounts to pursue via legal and we will get you your money within 30 days". Well, we did and guess what? We have YET to see the money from the initial collection (which we basically secured ourselves, but had to run through M&L since they had started collection process), and we are constantly having to call them for updates since their (Miller & Levine) follow up is so horrendous. They gave us the oft-repeated story about how they "fired" their accounting person, were in the process of getting their accounting squared away, give them another week (or month) and they would get us our money. (Just like the other reports you see on this website!). Well, here we are 4 months later and STILL no payments from them. *** AVOID MILLER & LEVINE AT ALL COSTS!!! *** You are better off trying to collect on your own, or using someone else. What a RIPOFF! We will now have to pursue using another collection agency to collect our money from these guys!
