Recieved an email addressed to me as if there had been previous communication and through review of the internet search found out it was to Millionaire Dates. Joined to see what it was all about and immediately despite saying specifically in my post that i was not a subscriber started getting im's and messages both of which i could not fully read because i was not a subscriber. Along the way of attempting to open the mails got a page that listed a free membership that would allow me all access to the site functions for life for free except the "visual" entertainment aspects of videos that were included with a 2 day free trial promo. I called to confirm just what was meant by the somewhat confusing explanation on the page.
All that I had to do was supply my credit card info in order to "confirm" my age. Well, when I clicked to take "advantage" of the offer it was declined by my credit card company and then i got a phone message saying that an attempt had been made to post to my account. At no time did the person who explained to me with the first call that my card would be charged. No sooner was i off the phone after my cc company declined the chare I got a call from the cc company fraud monitoring unit saying that a full priced subscription was put through. At no time did the original clerk say that it would be put through from ther start rather than following the end of the two day trial period, as well as never stated on the same screen or any place else in the web site.
I called to complain and was repeated advised as if that would satiater me that the cc co declined the post therefore I was never charged. I would repeatedly say to the supervisor that that was not the point as it is customary to charge people "following" a free trial period. And repeatedly they would attempt to satiate me with the fact that no charge went through, blah blah blah.
Eventually the supervisor attempted to blow me off by giving me an 818-591-4503 number that was the Millionaires Dates department but then never said that they were closed at the time. After I asked specifically about the 818 operating hours just what were they and why did not ther suporvisor at the time I was given the number that they were closed and to try during the hours of operation.
What is particularly interesting is that the "mail" in my box seemed to be coming from men that were according to their profile seeking women not men so the comments that I read off another site about some people getting all numbers of im's and messages then finding out after they bought a subscription that the im's stopped, the messages were irrelevant to dating prospects, blah blah blah.
I seriously doubt the veracity of this web site and would advise people to pass it by, SERIOUSLY.

As I have found out after the fact, when you list with Millionaire Dates the same profile is used for Cupid's Lovers.

The site does not allow you to remove your profile, only designate that it not be visable to others.
I would suggest that you set up a "junk" email address that you can check occassionally to see what is going on, go into your profile and change any informstion you do not feel comfortable listing and maybe even putting in info that would make it highly unlikely that you would be a good prospect for anyone and save it.
Redirect messages from the site to your junk email address and of course change the designations on the site to which you will recieve notifications about site activity. If you do not send any mail from your junk email address there should not be any way that people if they were to hack into that address they will come up with nothing but other trash sites.
You might make the junk site the one you use to join sites and figure if you find that site useful. Then after an appropriate period transfer it to a more personal account. I hope that is a solution.
The site could care less when I contacted them about forwarding to the Better Business Beauraeu for the 818 area code (Orange County, CA) a concern about their subscription charging practices despite what it said on their pronotion pages. In fact they sounded rather defiant that they have a number of call centers as well as the maintaining of their finances in London as if that was my concern and that since my credit card company declined the posting for being unusual that they really did not care to speak with me any longer. I told them that the purposeeif both this consumer concern report posting and the BBB report were to have in the public know just what has been the experience of some with the site.

I get the same emails from men with different names with the same photos. I contacted this site and they said they would no longer send me emails but alas I get them everyday. There is no way to unsubscribe from this site and I am sick of all the spam they send me. I know they are scammers but how do you get them to stop sending this crap?
