mini split warehouse MSW sent me the wrong min splits and then charged me to return and exchange them. tampa Florida

MSW sent me the wrong items and took 3 weeks to send the right ones and then charged me various charges in order to cost me more money. i ordered 2 30,000 btu mini split air conditioners. they sent me the wrong compressors, which happen to be the largest and most heaviest part of the unit. I needed these items on the day they were delivered.

I contacted them and they said they would exchange them but they would not send out the correct units until the wrong ones were shipped back. it takes 1 week to ship each way. so the earliest i could get the correct units was 2 weeks. this is unacceptable. i cannot wait 2 weeks to install these. so i became angry and i think it was jeremy said that i would have to pay for shipping back and they would not return the opened unit.

i had 1 unit opened and 1 unit unopened so i said i would return the unopened unit for a refund. this was they only thing i could think to do since i could not wait 2 weeks to get the correct items and they were refusing to refund the 2nd unit since i had opened it. i took the incorrect units to roadrunner to ship back and they let them sit in their warehouse for 1 week before shipping them. so it took 3 weeks to get my 1 correct compressor back.

when i requested my refund they charged me various charges - 1 of which they said was original shipping fee - which on their website it says shipping is free?? how are you going to charge me for free shipping? then they had a $70+ lift gate fee? and other fees. i should not be charged any fees for THEIR mistake. this was THEIR mistake, not mine. i paid on time. i did everything i was supposed to do and they were very uncooperative and just a horrible experience. i will never order from them again and i will post this story everywhere i can and have filed a complaint with BBB. i have contacted an attorney in the area as well. total amount that they ripped me off for was around $400 not to mention 3 weeks of wasted time, hassle, gas, etc.

1- System was kept = $1692.63

- original shipping - $198.14 (cannot be refunded)

- return shipping ($225.88) split the cost with the buyer only because he decided to return a unit@ $112.94
