Mini Vacations, Inc. ripoff dishonest travel certificate Tampa Florida

My wife and I attended a vacation sales event in Hilton Hotel, Concord, CA and received a "7 NIGHT DREAM CRUISE" certificate from Mini Vacations on 06/30/05. We were asked to activate the certificate and send deposit to secure our reservation. Our deposit check of $534.26 was mailed to Mini Vacations on 09/02/2005, and the check was cashed out by Mini Vacations on 09/07/2005. About one month later, we received a notice from Mini Vacation, which said "due to the current volatile situation with cruise lines... we are unable to fulfill your date requested". The notice also provided an option for us - "Leave your deposit with us and request a new date". A few days later, I call Mini Vacations (813-630-1841) to request a new date, but they told me that no dates were available in 2005, for reservations in 2006, I need to call them again in the first week of April, 2006. From 04/01/2006 - 04/08/2006, I tried to call Mini Vacations many times, but the phone line was always busy.. It seems that this company took customers' money went out of business without sending any notice..
