To All Single Parents,

Yes, John Luke Shumpert continues his quest to become a famous gospel-recording artist.   He continues to be a deadbeat dad. He recently obtained a modification for child support from The State of Florida, Duval County.  He told the State of Florida that his income has decreased (he refuses to pay even the modified amount).  However, he continues to promote his Gospel CD.  Is my story true?   Search for yourself,  on 4/14/2003 John Luke Shumpert was charged with contempt for failure to pay child support and arrested in Jacksonville, Duval County Florida.  Feel free to do an archive record search of inmates.  He really is a deadbeat dad who works the system.  The child support system works against children.  We should all write our legislatures and encourage them to change the child support laws.  

For those of us - trying to collect child support (with no help from the system)- We should support Fox's Bad Dads show OR anything else that may help us expose these deadbeats and receive the money our children deserve.

I am writing in support of Fox's new show, Bad Dads. Please consider the dads who can pay but refuse to do so or those who know how to work the Child Support Enforcement System. Ministers are a excellent examples at least those who work as independent contractors for churches/religious organizations. However there are others (hide assets). At the end of the day, it does not matter what their title is, the legal definition of a deadbeat dad is "A father who ignores a Court order to pay child support (Duhaine.org 2008).

Minister John Luke Shumpert, appeared before a judge on May 1, 2008 for contempt (not paying child support). As the system appears to work more for them (in Florida), he was NOT found in contempt. As of this writing he has NOT paid a dime in child support since his appearance. The current child support system does not work for the children. Bad Dads is an excellent idea!

This dead-beat dad thing is a hoax. I know for a fact that Luke has always tried to do the right thing. But seemes to fall short when women (groupies) throw themselves at Luke in subductive ways. Let's get this straight, the woman who makes this claim is herself a "deadbeat mom." She's a vindictive person. And, for the Bishop getting involved -- I don't believe the busy Bishop of a mega church would want to or have the time to get in the middle of something like this. Ya'll need praying for.
