As a prize for attending a presentation on minivacations, I was given a certificate called "Great Escape' for 2 free nights at Hotel Hollywood Wyndam. When I called for reservations, they required a $50 deposit which they told me would be refunded when i stayed at the hotel. Reservations required at least 90 days notice. I requested reservations in Nov, and was never confirmed, so I requested them in April. They told me they would let me know. Never heard from them. I tried to call and confirm in late Feb. and phones were disconnnected. The hotel has no record of the deposti or reservation. So I have no free nights and have lost $50.
