In late May, I purchased an Aerolase 2009 medical laser online from Miomedical Inc. The website looked professional and the emails back and forth with the sales rep TITA HARIS seemed genuine. I wired $10,300 to a bank in Jakarta, and have heard nothing since. My emails are not answered, the phone/fax does not work. I have had investigators look at the physical address, which is apparently a large hospital in Jakarta. The website also gives an alternate address in Cairns, Australia.
The owner of the website www.miomedical.com is one Robert Whitehead. When I dialed the number listed, the person denied being Robert or of being in Salt Lake City.
