On May 22, 2015, I made the mistake of purchasing a trial offer of Mira Vie Skin Cream ($4.95) and Mira Vie Eye Serum ($5.95).   When I hit the "send" button, I did not realize that I had agreed to recurring monthly charges of each item in excess of $90.  I also failed to see any reference to the 14-day trial period in which I could cancel any future orders or charges to my credit card.  To this point, I say it's my fault for not searching for the Terms of Agreement that were secreted in very fine print at the end of the ad on Face Book.

On July 6, I noticed an email from PayPal stating that they had paid "CTD Skinvitalize (Mira Vie Skin Cream)" $94.90.  I called  the listed number immediately--protesting that "unauthorized" debit to my account.  They assured me that I had authorized the purchase as soon as I ordered the trial and did not cancel within 14 days. We went back and forth, until I accepted the option of having them return $70.80 ($94.90 minus S & H).  I walked away thinking that I had been taught a costly but well learned lesson.

Unfortunately, I had only learned half of the lesson.  A more thorough examination to the debit account that I used to make the original purchase revealed two debits:

1) On June 5, CTD Skin Vitalize -Tel 888-510-2076 NV  Charged $89.95

2) On June 5, ANZ Eye Intensify - Tel 888-245-3451 SD Charged $85.95

Again, they got me, because I did not see the fine print; moreover, when I contacted Skin Vitalize on July 6, I had no idea that I was dealing with only one company.  Skin Vitalize returned most of my money.  Eye Intesniffy was poised to charge me again in August.  I now realize that I was dealing with two different companies--- one in Nevada and the other in South Dakota!

*Please Note:  I received the first mailing of the face cream and eye serum dated 07/06/2015 from yet, another address:  PO Box 25380, Santa Ana, California.  This is another reason for me to have believed I was dealing with one company!

At this writing, I have managed to officially cancel Eye Intensify as well as Skin Vitalize.  Eye Intensify cancelled readily today, August 6, but they refuse to credit my account.
