Watch out for this company. They scam the customer and make unauthorized charges to your credit card. When I asked one of the customer service people for her last name, she said "Oh, we don't give out our last names" They allege that shipping of one box to my home costs $64.70.

They have infomercials selling these knife sets. I called on 10-29-02 and ordered a set of the knives. The lady that I talked to was a very good salesperson. She sold me the first set of knives for $39.95 and said this included a cutting board and juicer. She then sold me a second set including a cutting board and juicer for $29.95. She sold me 2 butcher blocks to hold the knives for $9.95 each. She asked if I wanted rush shipping and I said no. She told me the total was $94.80. I gave her my charge card information. At no time did she mention delayed billing.

I received the knives in November and there was no warranty information in the box and no invoice. My credit card was charged $94.80 which was the amount she told me the knives would cost.

I was totally shocked when on 1-2-03, the company charged an unauthorized additional $159.60 to my charge card. Of course there is no information on the charges to contact the company so I had to track them down.

I called and they advised me that I had agreed to buy 1 set of knives for 39.95, the second set for 29.95 and 2 cutting boards at 29.95 each and 2 butcher blocks at 29.95 each. I asked to speak to a supervisor anc he insisted that this was the amount I agreed to pay. I said it was not. He said they would let them me ship them back and would credit me $189.70 of the total $254.40. The remaining $64.70 was the shipping fee. I told him I wanted a credit of $159.60, the unauthorized charge on my credit card and he told me they wouldn't do that.

I faxed them a letter on 1-24-03 and asked them to acknowledge receipt of my fax and to credit my account within 10 days. I have not received a reply.

I never authorized delayed billing and I did not agree to pay $254.40 for 2 sets of what used to be Ginzu knives. Do they really think the public is this stupid?
