This has got to stop! When will an investigative reporter step up to the plate and take this pageant system on! Various legitimate companies and past winners/contestants are able to verify that this woman constantly steals from people - especially the Latin community.
The best chance that everyone has in shutting her down is to come together and file a class action law-suit against her. One by one all of you complain, but not as a whole.
I will shed some light on her 2007 pageant. Girls paid $900USD to enter the pageant, and were also required to pay their own hotel stay.
This is an excerpt taken from her official website:
ELIGIBILITY
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST BE FEMALE & AT LEAST 25% HISPANIC. You can speak English or Spanish. There are NO height / weight requirements.
TEEN LATINA WORLD - ages 13-17, single, no children
MISS LATINA WORLD - ages 18 -35 single, married, or divorced, may have children
JUDGING
Judging is based on 3 equal catagories.
1/3 Interview
1/3 Fitness in swimsuit
1/3 Evening Gown

It is free to apply. If you are selected, you will recieve detailed information on finding sponsors to cover the mandatory sponsor fee.
What is Included:

What is not Included:
Travel expenses, lodging, wardrobe, personal expenses are not included.
1. This event was not televised.
2. There were no gifts from any sponsors - because their weren't any.
3. The only transportation given to the contestants was on the night of the event when they were picked up from the hotel and dropped off to the theatre.
4. There were no fashion and beauty seminars.
5. Most meals???? There was only 1 meal - it was a pizza meal.
6. There were no activities planned, girls were told to go and do whatever they want on free time.
7. Preferrential treatment was given to girls who came with Directors.
8. No make-up artists were provided.
These girls were left on their own - and what I would like to know is what kind of Director joins this pageant and continues to participate knowing that this is what this woman does, and secondly if you are paying $900 - I am sure that does not amount to a crown and a sash - where did the rest of the money go!!!!!
The only way to stop this from occurrig again and again is for people to make the public aware. If someone has an investigative reporter who is interested in busting scams such as this, please contact me!

I know who you are. I think it's horrible for you to use a boys name to hide, but the worse part is that you're a grown person! Don't you know how to communicate?? You could have written a e-mail or left VM telling this company what you think and feel. How can things get fixed within a company when the DIRECTORS don't say what they truelty think. These professionals should have the professionalism to be able to talk to whom ever runs the company and say,"hey I don't think this is right either it gets fixed or I wont be returning next yr."
