I put a drum set up for sale on Cleveland.com. I received interest from a buyer who said he'd send me a check, but never discussed shipping arrangements. I was asking $500.00...but received a check from a company in Hawaii for $2500.00.
The package was sent from Oregon, and there was a typed note inside from Mita Ganesh, telling me to cash the check, take my share and send the rest to him or her via Western Union, minus fees!
I don't know what these people are trying to pull. Beware!
