This guy brings his car into the shop where I work and it is having problems. I diagnose everything that is wrong with it. I tell him a bunch of stuff that is wrong, and the cheap dude only wants to fix a couple things. Well, I know better than him what his vehicle needs. So I do a fuel cleaning treatment that he really needed so his car wouldn't mess up. He comes in and picks his car up like everything is cool. Then later he calls up and gets all mad becuase we did a service he said no to. I tried telling him that he needed it and I was doing him a favor, but he came up and talked to my boss. We had to refund his money for the service that the dummy needed because he didn't say we could do it. I got in big trouble with my boss. Not happy about that at all.

You ARE a scam

First, you are not qualified to work on cars, period. Fuel system cleaners are 100% snake oil, and no legitimate mechanic would ever recommend one.
Second, if a customer tells you not to do something, then you don't do that. That's the #1 rule of an honest repair business.

Advertisers above have met our
strict standards for business conduct.
