MJC Classic Cars Michael Calhoon I purchased a car from MJC Classic Cars (,Michael Calhoon, on January 3, 2018 and have still not received the car April 18, 2018. Michael Calhoon is a liar at best, I'm still waitint to see how much worse it is. Lakeland Florida

I sent a $1000 deposit for a 1967 Oldsmobile 442 on January 3, 2018. I sent the balce in full plus funds to convert the car's automatic transmission to a 4-speed manul transmission. Calhoon told me it would take approximately 6 weeks to complete the work. I also bought seperately a correct 4-speed console and sent that to MJC Classics as well.
I began calling Calhoon about deliver after 8 full weeks and was told one excuse after another. He finally referred me to his "shop manager" who began a string of excuses of his own. Finally, on April 11, I was told that the car is ready to ship. I began calling Michael Calhoon to make arragemnets and got voice mail for a few times, then a message that his voice mail was full.
I finally got a text from him on April 17 telling me that someone would be calling me about the shipping arrangements. I have had a correspondance from someone claiming to represent a car shipper but as of yet no email with instructions. I was told that it was sent to the wrong email address....they thought of was mistersteverion@all.com instead of the correct address I had given them, mistersteverion@aol.com Now I realize that aol.com is a rare address but...this in itself wouldn't be too troubling but in combination with every other lie Michael Calhoon has utter over the past frou months, it is one more clue that I have been screwed by a common crook.
Buyer beware with Michael Calhoon and MJC Classic Cars. You will be sorry, he is at the very least a dishonest person

My name is Steve Bryant and I did attempt to explain that my initial cmplaint was a result of a lack of communication between Calhoon and me. He is correct in his rebuttal quote from me and all issues have been resolved. I am a satisfied customer now,

this is the email sent to me by client that posted this hateful complaint. He submitted this to Ripoff Report but they did not post it...
this service WILL NOT allow a posted to delete there complaint, even when made in error lke this one. Client had us convert the car from automatic to fours speed in our shop. His expectations of timing to complete were not realistic and communications with him were found in his spam...

I reported a complaint about MJC Classic Cars/Michael Calhoon on 04/18/2018 about delivery of a car I had paid fr in January 2018. It turns out that there was a communication probleme between me and Mr. Calhoon about repair work that he had done on a previosuly unnotice problem with the car's engine. After speaking with Mr. Calhoon I am confident that the problem was a result of my misunderstanding and the comments that I made earlier on this web site were a mistake on my part. To be clear, all issue have been resolved to my satisfaction and I would give Calhoon and his company a good rating, and do business with him again f the need arises.
I regret the misunderstanding on my part.
