Mjs Inc/Property Management needs to be investigated for unfair practices and lack of transparency. Since moving into my neighborhood they have consistently found problems with my property that are for lack of better words, absurd. In an attempt to collect money, they send bills which reflect no real knowledge of the situation or concern for the homeowner.

A community cannot thrive if it is controlled by a company that has no visible representative. It is not a Homeowner's Association if the Homeowner's have no voice. If you read this and are ready to consider an investigation into their practices please respond to this. I think a legal investigation is in order and with enough support, I will see that it happens.

What problems?

AUTHOR: Old Military Guy - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 14, 2015

What "problems" have MJS found? You realize that it is your neighbors that are having issues with your property not MJS. MJS is forwarding a complaint from your neighbors that they are not agreeing with your ?????? (whatever it is that MJS wrote you about) The reason that these letters are submitted is because people (that are noncompliant) feel like they are being attacked when approached by another neighbor that has concerns about their translation of the HOA rules and it becomes a fued.

I believe this all begins when someone is looking for a neighborhood that is concerned about maintaining its value and is looking for one of the most important aspects; making sure the community has a strong HOA. Everyone knows that before buying a house in this type of community a copy of the HOA rules are presented to the perspective buyer. Each buyer is then given an opportunity to see what the requirements are to live in the community. If the rules appear to be feasible then they buy the house and live happily ever after, if they don’t meet their life style then look elsewhere.

It amazes me when someone who has agreed to these term, like the person who wrote the initial post, is surprised when they get a violation for parking in the street overnight/all day all the time, parking their RV, boat cars with mechanical issues in their driveway all the time for months on end, not maintaining their lawn within the HOA guidelines, building structures like sheds and out of compliance fences, having a dirty house, painting their door without talking to the architectural review board and for that matter doing anything to your property without consulting them first. There are many more but these are the easily fixed issues.

This small list of issues happen in my neighborhood that is specifically noted in the HOA rules (as violations) which are a major contributing factor in the value of my home plummeting. Of course this happens with a small subset of folks (always the same) in my community and they just don’t get it which in turn ruins it for the majority, the people that want to live in the community that have rules that help maintain their home value.  If you do not want to do what are in the bylaws then you should have moved in a community that allows those types of things but as long as you live in a community that has HOA rules you should abide by them and not act surprised when you receive a violation. Better yet break out the HOA rules and read them, then you will understand how not to receive a violation.

They are in my subdivision and have recently "removed" me from my home. So now my family has to find someplace on very short notice. I'm very interested in your class action lawsuit.  I have an attorney that can help but was told I needed more people. If you are still fighting them I'm here to help.
