MLBTV.COM Beware of Blackouts! Internet

When you read or hear "Don't miss  ANY of your favorite team games" or "MLBTV broadcasts ALL games", don't believe it.



If you are in the same area as the team(s) you want to watch, you're out of luck, regardless of where in the U.S. (or Canada) the game is actually being played.

You will not recieve the broadcasts.



Total false advertising by both MLBTV and the stations that actually cover the telecast. (Who indicate "Never miss a game with MLBTV")



In addition, if you want to stream any of the games to your HDTV, you will need an internet connection, and a cable to connect to your TV.  (Or possibly an Apple TV box at $100)



Be forwarned as well, all regular season games are broadcast in 720p, images are choppy, games freeze constantly, and audio is sketchy at best.



ALSO, if you are planning on getting any post-season games, forget about that too, unless you subscribe to the "Postseason Package"!!!!  (at additional cost of course)





After spending $125 for the "Premier Package" (audio and video both, WOW!), I found a button that indicated "check local blackout restrictions in your area"   I entered my zipcode, (in the L.A. area) and was informed that I would not be receiving either Dodger or Angel games!!!  (The ones I really wanted)



Lastly, per other posts here, be advised you will be "auto-billed" for the subscription, unless you cancel within 5 days, and even then it's a crapshoot getting a refund.



What a total scam and waste of money this site is, buyer berware!!
