I became a customer of M&M pawn and loan on march 11th 2009.I sold my ruby and diamond cluster that surrounded a large diamond. The next day i called Dana the owner and told her i wanted to buy it back. She said no problem after the legal 15 day waiting period at a profit of course I agreed.

After waiting the allotted time I contacted her and she told me she had taken the ring from the marysville store to her 2 nd store in lancaster. She said she
was going on vacation and i should contact her at the end of the month.
She also assured me the ring would be locked up and only accessable to her.

I called her on the 25th of april and was told she was sick and try again on monday I called back the 29th and talked to Dana she told me she had to be at the Marysville store on the following day at 2 oclock. After driving 45 minutes she wasnt there 3 hours later she called me to come get the ring.

Being so happy to get the ring back and the dull lighting in the store I didnt realize until i was in the outdoor light and on my way to my sisters 5 minutes away that the center diamond had been replaced with a much smaller inferior stone. The prongs are now bent and over the diamond to accomidate the smaller stone opposed to being straight and holding the pre existing diamond.

My name is Darren, I have worked for m & m pawn for 10 years. My boss, the company and I have never had a problem before this. The woman recieved what she sold us. When we purchase jewelry it goes into an envelope with a tag, the envelope has the name, item number and brief description. The woman sold us the ring, if we wanted the diamond, we simply would not have sold it back to her. Trust me we did not want the diamond, we had plenty. Our reputation is worth far more than one shiny rock.
