This company has charges coming out of my bank account without authorization. Two charges in one day. I called the number and the person told me I had to give my credit card number and the charges would not have appeared if they didn't have it.

I work for a company similar to the credit reporting agencies that a lot of consumers are reporting. Unfortunately, all of the monthly charges that are occuring ARE authorized. It seems that most people when they are filling out information on the internet are not actually reading the terms and conditions. You cant know what you are signing up for if you do not read the agreement. I have been to both websites, creditreport and freecreditreport. I didnt enter ANY information and yet still, on the first page it tells you ...."when you order a free credit report, you will automatically enrolled in a __ day free trial of credit monitoring. You may cancel at any time. Each month that you continue this service...i.e. do not call and cancel....you WILL BE BILLED $__.__. My suggestion is simple, stop being lazy, read what you are authorized, and if you arent sure, dont put your credit card number in!!!
