Mobil Imaging Systems LP and Jay A. Kahane scammed many investors out of funds to be used to build mobil imaging machines in trailers to be taken to locales where the hospitals could not afford to own such equipment. Although they boasted about high rates of returns, I invested because I had Melanoma vey badly and almost died from it. I was fortunate enough to have been close to hospitals with the necessary equpment to diagnose my issues and guide the surgeons where to perform the surgery that saved my life. I invested in 5 $5,000 units in 2007 and never saw a dime in return. Worse than the financial loss was the fact they never built units that actually went to depressed areas where the technology was desperaately needed.

Now, 8 years later, I get a call from a "Robert Fletcher", telling me he is a New York attorney who has reached a settlement with MIS LP and Jay Kahane to distribute 70% of our original investments back to us. The catch is he wants a $5,000 retainer. I tell Fletcher (who is not a NY attorney and has operated similar scams from Ontario) that I don't have that much liquid cash. He quickly says I can send him $2,500 now, and he'll take the rest out of my settlement. He doesn't know it, but he's not getting a cent from me.

Beware of both of these companies and these two individuals. God has a special place for tem in the afterlife!!!
