Let me just begin by saying that I've known gang-bangers with more business acumen then the crooks located at Mobile Link, "your neighborhood cricket store". I purchased the Cricket AC3781 Broadband modem & service on one condition. If I didn't like it I would be able to get a full refund, the only condition being that it would be returned back to the store within 3 days. So imagine my dismay when 2 days later I bring back their garbage service only to be told the guy who rang me up did something wrong & they couldn't give me back a penny. Oh yes, and they would be keeping that modem I bought right along with my money because their employee did his job wrong. This incompetent employee is Taras Hryhorasz, however at least his only crime is stupidity (I think). The store management was unapologetic, rude, displayed a complete lack of accountability, & wouldn't even help me contact anyone who could help. So bottom line....they blatantly lied to me, happily took my money, gave me a receipt, & 2 days later when I tried to return their useless equipment they took the product but simply refused to return the money I paid for it. They did suggest that I go to a corporate store in search of help for my problem, however it was just a suggestion & being that I had a receipt for a product that I no longer had I didn't have much confidence in their generic, lazy advice. I'm dumbfounded. Al Capone would admire these people & their amazingly bold, gangster-like tactics......

Mobile Link @ 3701 N Harlem Ave in Chicago, Il is infested with some of the worst employees I've ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with. They basically stole $$ from me & then took turns irritating & insulting me.



They were sweet as pie before I made the purchase, but once they got my $$ (for a totally useless product), I was no more important to them than a bag of garbage.Everyone from the snotty young sales girl, all the way up to the District Manager, astounded me with their horrid lack of customer service skills. I even would have settled for just a bit of understanding & accountability. I got none of that.

 

So when I stopped in this Sunday afternoon, prepared to go another round with the hostile employees of the store who gangstered my $$, it was such a relief to finally interact with a polite, competent employee. It started bad as I had expected, thanks to the young girl working there who insisted on repeating the same ignorant comment OVER & OVER again, despite my request that she butt out of my conversation I was having with 2 other employees. Eventually she was lead off by the guy who had started this whole problem by ringing me up wrong. That left me with Joel C.......



Thank You Joel. You should be given a much higher position, & your 1st order of business would have to be teaching the other employees that being wrong, inflexible, & hostile isn't any way to form relationships with your customers. I will have to get the Regional Managers name so that Joel can get proper recognition because the District Manager is no better than the snotty little girl who couldn't stop herself from subjecting me to that verbal diarrhea :)
