Mobilink Wireless AT&T Authorized Retailer Bait and Switch Commack, New York

Ordered an iPhone 4S from Waida at the Commack store. I was informed that the price of the phone was $199 which was consistent with AT&T pricing. I placed a one hundred dollar deposit n the phone. I waited 12 days for the phone to arrive. Once the phone arrived they called me and told me to come in and pick it up. Upon arriving Waida took the phone box out and placed it in front of me on the counter. She then told me that I could not buy the phone unless I bought $50 worth of accessories from the store. When I refused she placed a call to a person in another location and then informed me that I could not have the phone. They refunded me my deposit but wasted 12 days of my time.

I called AT&T and they informed me that the practice of forcing customers to buy additional items with phones is NOT allowed. This was an obvious trick to pressure me into buying things I would not have otherwise.

Beware - this store has other locations at 4633 Sunrise Hwy in Bohemia, 110A Broadway in Greeenlawn, and 14 Hewitt Square in East Northport.
