MODA Dental MODA Health I have been victimized by MODA Dental Portland Northwest

I am a victim of MODA Health. They offer what appears to be good dental insurance, but unfortunately they list only those dentists with very little experience OR those who have had issues. One thing I have learned though is always check with the Dentistry Board BEFORE choosing your dentist. Anyway, I have paid a lot of money into my policy, and when I finally needed it I learned the hard way, there really wasn't anyone to help me. I had a cracked tooth from popcorn. VERY simple procedure to replace a tooth that merely broke not because of decay. It took FOUR dentists to fix this crown and MODA tells me there is nothing they can do about it. I need a new crown AND root canal. Really MODA?

Well here's what I can do about it. WARN people to stay far far away from your dental plan. YOU cost me $2500, but hey at least I got a FREE cleaning 2x's a year. BUT HERE'S THE GREAT NEWS! CIGNA has a super duper dental plan and because they are MUCH bigger than MODA they can offer MUCH better coverage AND competent dentists. Also, they will not make you have a waiting period if you have been with MODA for a year. REALLY???? I was soooooooooo happy. They just want their money. Oh, and you can switch to Cigna any time during the year. Don't be another victim; make the switch today!
