I joined Model One Casting to do extra work and actually had some pretty good results working with them. I got booked on Entourage, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and a couple of other tv shows. I was also in a feature film called Made in Vermont. I'm no longer doing extra work now because I had to get a real job that provided a steady pay check. For what it's worth, I can say Model One Casting treated me very well.

Sandy is a shill for Model One Casting!
A year has passed and despite constantly calling to submit and declaring my availabilty to the company, I had NOT gotten any work! I called to make a complaint. Hilary called me back and made some b.s. story about not expecting to get every job and how her company is sister companies with a VERY LEGIT company known as Central Casting. One, othercompanies were able to get me a lot of work, but they weren't? Two, I later called Central and they were like WTF?
This company is pretty shady. A while back, if you googled the address, there would be similar sites as this casting company site but advertising things like escort services and massages.
Now, I've heard these scumbags have resurfaced as Starlight Model and Talent. Instead of this elusive Mary Brady, the mysterious big shot woman is now called Alice Gold.
Here's their website. It has the EXACT template that Model One Casting used to have!

I made a mistake. I checked my receipt. The name of the company that
I signed up with to do extra work with wasn't Model One Casting. It was
The Hollywood Company.
As a frequent visitor to those offices I think I can clarify some things.
There were a number of companies there. They were Don's offices but he rented out rooms to a number of different businesses. I believe it's called a fegian arrangement. There was an extras company, a model management business and there was a big office in back where a lot of casting was always going on. I understand different casting directors rented it.
I'd also like to add my 2 cents to this amazing string which really
seems kind of childish. The woman who started it must be a mental case. First she writes all this terrible stuff and then she says it was all
just a mistake. Give me a break. It clearly is a simple and classic case of
character assassination.
In her inflamatory statement she throws mud everywhere but she never actually states that Don ever did anything wrong or improper but she makes him out to be a very terrible person and it's not true. He's a very nice man. I know because I talked to him many times and he was always very nice and helpful to me. As a side business, he builds web sites. I told him I needed one but I couldn't afford to have one built so he built one for me for free. He never asked for a thing, said "it was on the house". And, he was always there to give me advice whenever I asked. I think in a way he's sort of adorable. He's got such a nice way about him and always acted like a gentleman and very professional.
Kirsten Kellogg must have a big thorn up her butt or something. Goggle
Kirsten Kellogg model and you'll find out what I mean. She must be a very hateful person inside to do such a cruel hatchet job to a person I know is a very decent person.
