rip off. I was picked from a model search among many others. They (model productions) gave me a tshirt and asked for a payment for a future model search and pictures. 3 payments. I paid $50 the day I went initially when they help an "open call" free for everyone to walk the catwalk and get picked. I did was a catwalk and said a line from a script. They said they chose me and I think everyone else that went up there. I went to the back and spoke with a representitive she gave me a T shirt and also a sheet staing there will be 3 payments, 1st $50, the second due on photoshoot (if you didn't have your pics done that day $50, and another $50 at the so called regional model competition. Well I paid the first $50 and was scheduled to return for a photo shoot. I called and canceled and I only got voice mail. I told them I wanted my money back because I couldnt receive the services (photo's). they have not returned my calls. I looked online and read from a former employee that they will take take your money and you will probably not hear from them again. I have called 3 times and got voice mail each time. I want my money back! What did I pay for a Tshirt? $50??? Come on. Anyone hearing of a model search in their local mall from this company AVOID IT!! They will choose anyone that tries out because they wan everyone's money that will pay. Basically your just paying for cheap non professional pictures. I didn't even get that and I can't get my money back.

To All the people who are reporting bad things about the company Model Productions...Maybe you should do a little more research on a company before you just hand over cash. Maybe its not that you were ripped off myabe its that you expected to be made that next 'Tyra' or 'Naomi'....Maybe even the next 'Hannah Montana'. Maybe what you should do is PAY MORE ATTENTION!! For the people saying that they can't get their money back, you must not be very intelligent because anyone will tell you to read the fine print. It clearly states that their are no REFUNDS...Only Reschedulings and Exchanges!! For the People complaining about the quality of the work...Youwere not promised 'professional pictures'. You should have also read the big bold print that says PICTURE PROOFS!!!!!!(Hence the black and white)! As a person that has worked with customers for years, i know that if a person finds that they weren't chosen or they misinterpreted something, they will try to make them seem like a bad business. Model Productions has been in business for almost three decades. If they were such a scam, don't you think that they would have been shut down? You don't think that in a little over two decades they haven't come across an unsatisfied parent or person that couldn't work the system to get what they wanted so they posted something like what you have done?? If you are complainingabout having to even pay then you don't even know anything about the business that you are trying to get into. There is a large Model search that will be taking place in January. I personally entered this search. The top modeling agencies will be there (like Wilhemina, Ford, Next,Trump,Riccardo Gay,IMG,Cinq Deux Un) and there is a FEE to enter into that Model Search as well. Trust me it is way more than you were asked to pay for at Model Productions. For those of you that are saying in your head that I'm lying or don't know what I'm talking about then you can check it out yourself @ Modelscouts.com. As far as the audition process goes for Model Productions..There are large numbers of people but all of them ARE NOT CHOSEN!!! How do i know?? Well, I auditioned. I made it through to the finals. I was also given the opportunity to intern for the company. As a person that did the same thing that you did- Put my name in the box, auditioned, and made it through- do you really think that i would've stayed around to be an unpaid intern if the information they gave me spelled out RIP OFF?? Places that are scams dont give out their real names, personal phone numbers to worried contestants, do whatever is possible to satisfy. Rip-offs dont recieve kudos from top magazines and talent agancies. All of the people you see when you audition you will see on the website. For those of you reading this that are here to find out what Model Productions is all about go to the website and look at the new adjustment which is the comment board. You will see actual comments from SATISFIED people that have dealt with Model Productions. Ladies and gentlemen what we have here is a person that thought they should've been pittied or they didn't have what it takes to get thm through or they are just spiteful and wanted to make the company look bad by posting an altered version of the truth.

First off Cara, You can't say the pictures are cheap unless you recieved and took the pictures. I am one of the Models that got selected and the pictures maid me look amazing, also to let you know i did not have to pay a dime when the offered me my contract. It was a one year newface modeling contract, completly free. They take 20% agency commission when ever they book me on work, And so far i've been with them for five months and i've booked four jobs. I am so sick of hearing new models who just because they didn't get selected go on this sight and able to write lies about any body they want to, If you search other top agencies like IMG Models-Tyra Banks agency, Elite Models-Cindy Crawfords old agency even they have reports on this website of stupid bitter models who don't get signed with them. Even if i didn't get selected through the scouting event the experiance alone plus portfolio they gave me to start off my career all for $150 is way less then i know you paid at that modeling school your talking about, If you new anything about this industy even Tyra banks herself says that your responsible to get your own portfolio taken and that normally can be between $300-$500( MP photogragher are $150) and then your agency represents you for free, and thats exactly what MP does. They are out there to open the door for new models and lift you up when no body else does. Its people like you who think that an agent is just suppose to find you and make you a star over night and thats not how this business works at all, Just like any business you start off at the bottom and work your way up. I've been doing this for almost five years now and Model Productions is THE BEST and cheapest way for new models to get into the industry.
