On August 4th around 7:17 pm Jennifer Domenech, one of the so called managers at Model Talent Development called my cell phone and left a message saying that she had some great news regarding my daughter and would like for me to call her back asap before 9:00 pm that night.  Seeing that I was actually at the movies, I had to excuse myself to return the call.

Jennifer told me that Macys had a casting call for 2 girls and my daughter was one of them but, the problem with my daughter is that she needed to have a 4-year contract with their Agency, Model Talent Development before Macys would actually signed with her and that I could extend the 1-year that we had originally signed up for to a 4-year contract (requirement that Macys required) for $1900.00 discounted price. 

I told her I do not have that kind of money seeing that I had already paid out over $2000 for them to take pictures and such already. She told me that she can take a credit card over the phone and then I will need to come into the office with my daughter the following Monday to sign the extended contract with James Muniz also, to sign the Macys contract and then my daughter would be able to start work within 2-weeks.

She even went as far as to tell me that when my daughter started working she can reimburse me the money seeing that she would be making each week over $700. I went ahead and give her the credit card and she scheduled the appointment for 8/7/12 at 1:00 pm.  However, a few hours before the appointment date on Monday 8/7/12, we got a call saying that James will not be in the office that day but, someone else will be there to meet with us later that evening and will be able to assist us in signing the Macys contract. 

We drove to Hicksville the location of the agency and signed some papers that evening.  We were given a 1 page document which they told us is the extended version of the contract.  I asked about signing the contract for Macys and was told that James is not in the office and he is the one solely responsible for the Macys contract, but he will get bet back to me in 2-weeks. I left feeling dissappointed and helpless but, said I would wait for James to call me. 

Of course James did called and left a message for me to call him back.  I have been calling ever since without any success of getting a hold of James or Jennifer.  I called practically every day and was put on hold or hung up on by the receptionist that has a very nasty attitude.  I was not able to leave any messages as the voicemail for both James and Jennifer was full.  I let the receptionist know that I am unable to leave messages each time that I called and she just brush me off saying "what do I want her to do if their voicemail is full? I told her to tell them that seeing that I cannot reach any of them I want my money back.  This went on for several months.  I finally drove to Hicksville to see either of them in October 2012.  

I spoke to the receptionist and let her know that I am there to see Jennifer or James and she told me that neither of them were there.  I let her know that I am there to get my money back and I would like to speak with someone in charge.  Eventually a young lady came out (cant remember her name now) and I explained the situation to her and she told me that she will take my information and will forward it to Jennifer. 

I reluctantly left but call back the next day to make sure that my message was passed on.  I was put on hold and a young lady came on the phone several minutes lateron.  I expressed my dissatisfaction with the services or lack there of that was promised.  She asked me for my fax number stating that she will send a contrac to me to sign that will allow me to get a full refund of the $1900. I received the one page document which I sign and dated 10/3/12 and fax back to them and up until today 11/20/13 I have yet to receive a refund for the $1900.
