I have not heard of Cashnet before even though I have had payday loans in the past they called me saying I owed them 875.00 and that I need to pay or they are going to download some affadavit forms and i will be charged with check fraud i asked who the company was and who they are and he said monetary crime division a law firm i asked to send me the original claim info so i can see it he said he couldnt and to give 875.00 on a credit card i asked if i owe this i need to see proof and i can send the payment western union they dont take western union he said we dont take western union i said what collector doesnt take western union. i also asked why have they been calling me threatening me on my voice mail he said because you owe i said yeah ok send me proof. so then i had my friend call and she said that the line was busy and when she got someone on the line he answered the phone hello i dont think they are legit. if i owed it i would have no problem paying it but it just doesnt seem right

They are hackers terrorizing consumers with threats of arrest - which is illegal for legitimate debt collections.
It Violates the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. FEDERAL LAW..
They have no paperwork and they cannot have your arrested.
