In 1995 I had a pool installed and I used the Money Store for a second mortgage. I have been late a few times and did pay the late fees as required. The loan was switched to Homeq not too long ago. The nice thing I noticed was that they were now showing the total balance due on the loan statement. The bad news was it showed I still owed the same amount that I had originally borrowed. I am going to ask them for a credit history to find out how in the world this could be after paying on the loan for over 5 years. Yes I would have to agree that this company is very shady.
