Apparently, like many others, I was ripped off by this so called "B+" rated BBB company. I was looking to take out a short term payday loan, and while they were processing my application, a huge screen popped up that I was approved for a $7500 shopping card. Like a fool, I never looked to see if there was even a box to uncheck... and apparently was signed up for their card. An email was sent to me saying I should click on the link to confirm my membership, I immediately deleted the email, and they were still extremely quick to remove the $29.95 from my checking account. I haven't received any additional correspondence from them.

When you call their phone number they have a previously recorded message about how they have 'unusually high call volumes' so you can't leave a voicemail or speak to anyone. They indicate that if you wish to cancel your shopping card you should contact them via e-mail at 'contact@moneynowusa.com' to cancel your shopping card - just leave your name - city, state, and zip code. I have now emailed them a total of 9 times, and have received no response.

Seeing as how they are a BBB accredited business, I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. They provided a more local number with a 480 area code, again, the same pre-recorded message. Seeing as how they charged my account in the form of a check, the only way to claim it as fraudulent is to completely close my account and open a new one. Of course, I then have to wait to get my checks and debit cards, and it's just not feasable for me to have to close everything, it's not like cancelling my debit card and issuing a new one... they have my bank routing number and checking account number, and according to my bank, they can pretty much do anything with my account until it's closed or I get in contact with them.

Thanks to a previous report on this website, I obtained a number for Chris K. Kay (602) 722-7657. I left a message requesting my money and a call back, and I intend on calling again and again. Hopefully the BBB will be able to help and get in contact with him, but please, don't make the same mistake as myself and others, don't fall for this crappy scam. It's only going to cost you money in the end. It's cost me $30 so far, and if I can't get something done to stop it, it's going to continue to cost me....
