I purchased the HealthMaster in 2009 which came with a lifetime warranty. I've since had to have the canister replaced twice. I called today because my base is shedding bronze colored chips and is smelling as well as blinking on and off and is extremely loud. I called customer service the first time to be told that the warranty is void because they don't make the model anymore and I had to buy the new Elite model. I asked why the warranty wasn't being honored and was humg up on. I them called back to be told the same and asked for a supervisor and was told the same again and hung up on. This company is a rip off and something needs to be done. Also as I was speaking to them I was looking at the discontinued model and it was still for sale.
