I went with them purely on the price but they tried to trick me into financing through them. The "Finance Director", Robyn Fleischman,...

1.
tried to get me to sign a Purchase Order without writing in the down payment even after I handed them the check (saying "just put it on a sticky note for my bank"!!! I responded by telling her "no way, my bank will not give me a loan for an amount thousands of dollars higher than I had asked for", so she printed out a correct Purchase Order);
2. promised to fax over the Purchase Document and Dealer Invoice the next day to my bank but failed to do so and would not reply to my phone calls or emails the entire day;
3. had me sign the Agreement to Arbitrate saying it was mandatory for all car buyers (beware, this removes your consumer rights. I called a friend and asked him about this and he told me it was probably to protect the dealership from the lemon law but Ms. Fleischman boldly denied it saying the agreement had nothing to do with the lemon law);
4. tried to get me to sign a Conditional Delivery Agreement with blank spaces: "You agree that we have ____ days to obtain financing from the Lender or to assign the Retail Installment Sale Contract"! I asked her why I should sign this agreement if I was not financing through them AND she left the "___ days" empty?!?  She replied it was typically ten days but I told her I'll sign it later when they receive full payment of the car.  She was irratated by that time and let it go.
5. and she read my open notebook upside down, saw my auto loan rates, and said she could get me a loan with lower interest rates through Fifth Third Bank...the same bank that I'm with!  I was like, "NO WAY, I'm not going through an intermediary for a loan!".  To tell you the truth, even if she was able to go below 3.79% for 48 months, I wouldn't give those crooks a dime.
Little did they know, I was able to contact a personal lawyer right away and pay off the car without waiting for my bank loan.  I would get a lawyer friend to help out or even hire a lawyer these days just to buy a car from these devilships.  I saved a lot of money but hated the experience!  Who wants to drive off with their new car angered and discontented?

And when you go speak with them, audio record the conversation, let them know in writing afterward of the audio recording, and make sure to have everything in writing...check everything!...VIN numbers, dates, legible signatures, titles next to names, etc.  I had the salesman correct an "L" on a VIN number that looked like a "1" on a document, and I even had Ms. Robyn Fleischman print her name next to her illegible scribble of a signature!
