On August 15, 2007 I attempted to make a purchase from a company hosted by YAHOO shopping called It's A Girly World who runs under the parent name D & S Giftware. They also go under the name of Mookie Gifts and perhaps even more names. I knew something was suspicious when I received no order confirmation. I contacted them in regards to my free shipping and I did get an email back staying simply-"Ok-we'll fix it."
I never heard anything from this company again. I tried to email-call on several occasions with no response back. Then I was concerned because even though I was not charged-I knew they had my cc and personal information. I tried to cancel the order and still no response from the company.
I told them that I would contact the St. Louis BBB and the St. Louis Attorney General's Office which I have done recently as well.
I contacted my credit card company to alert them of potential charges from this company.
Yesterday, I had someone try to charge almost $600.00 worth of merchandise to my credit card and I feel it is strongly connected to this purchase I made on August 15, 2007 to it's a girly world.
I had notified local authorities and filled out a police report, and an FCC report. I canceled my card, but I do hope these criminals are apprehended.
I urge you all to strongly consider NOT using this company and if you have be on alert or cancel your credit card. Notify the Credit Bureaus of potential fraud and even file a report with the BBB and the Attorney Generals Office! Hopefully this company if they are indeed acting with criminal intent will be stopped.

I would first like to say that it would be great if the company would take such care in responding to customers in regards to their orders-however, one can easily see how they are quick to ignore and create false accusations against the customer to free themselves from responsibility and/or obligations that they make to the customer when they advertise items to sell on their website.
If it were true that my credit card was denied-I would have appreciated a call or an email stating that my order could not be completed. And I do believe my numerous emails and phone call attempts would be proof of enough of my trying to CANCEL my order-so for them to claim that I "demanded" my order despite a declined card would not only come from the land of fiction, but to me, shows how little respect this company has for it's customers!
Most reputable companies aim to get customers back-regardless of any problems!
Most reputable companies aim to respond directly to complaints-NOT on a "Rip Of Report Site!"
And finally most companies do not justify their actions by spinning tales about their customers and/or making excuses as to why they could not fill their responsibilities.
All I know, is that after NEVER received any word from them in regards to my order-and I had to cancel my credit card (Yes, the one they claimed was denied) because I had unauthorized charges of over $600.00 on it.
In the end my advice to anyone who is thinking about using this company is-"Don't!"
