Moon Valley Nurseries Lying Ripoffs Filmore Nationwide

 Moon Valley Nurseries as a company is worse than any used car sales company. First, they treat you great, making promises and offering deals. But, once they get you in the door of one of their nurseries everything changes. Their advertised specials go away and they only show you over priced items. After the purchase their "service" becomes nonexistent. After the Erskine Wildfire completely destroyed my landscaping around my house I was looking to purchase a couple nice trees and some bushes to re-landscape my yard. After searching the internet I came across Moon Valley Nurseries. They show some nice advertised specials and claimed to be the biggest and best nursery. After filling out their contact form, I was contacted by a regional manager and then the manager of the location I would be using. The communication was great and it seemed like they would be good to deal with. So, my wife and I traveled 2 hours to visit the nursery. When we got there the manager personally showed us around and "helped" choose a couple trees. However, he never allowed us to discuss the advertised specials or help with design (as they state they do online). After the overpriced trees were delivered and planted, we began to notice problems. First, we had paid for double staking of the trees, to prevent them from leaning do to the high winds, that was not delivered. Second, the trees do not appear to be doing well. So, I contacted the manager thanking he would continue to help. Wrong. He took days to respond and was very unhelpful. He basically said the trees were going thru a normal stress and not to worry and that he would just refund us for the cost of the double stakes. However, the refund has still not arrived, and that was weeks ago, and the trees will probably now grow sideways, if they live. So, avoid this company, unless you want overpriced landscaping and do not want any customer service after you make a purchase. The advertised specials are complete lies and they are nowhere near the biggest or best nursery. The manager even states "we only carry select varieties in 15 gal. It can be very difficult to establish and grow some varieties starting at such a small size. We mainly carry hedge materials and fruit trees in 15 gallon size." Does this seem like a good nursery?
