promised to sell me a baby skunk, which I would have to drive over 10 hours to pick up. She then told me, after I had gotten a pet sitter for my other pets, a person to drive with me, had spent all kinds of money on skunk supplies,etc. that she was NOT going to meet me with the promised skunk. So, I tried to arrange another way to procure it. She refuses to reply to my many calls.
Katina Morrow started out as a seemingly wonderful skunk breeder. We connected, and I immediately fell in love with one of her babies for sale. She promised me that skunk, and promised to meet me halfway so I could buy it and take it home. It took me an unbelievable amount of money and effort to arrange for a pet sitter for my other babies, to hire a second driver, to get the money together for the trip, etc. As the time to meet drew closer, I called katina again and again. She refused to return my calls or emails. I kept spending money on calls, explaining to her that she was holding up a large number of people who's lives were on hold so I could adopt this baby. She FINALLY left me one message, saying there was an accident in the family, which I can understand and have compassion for; and that she wouldn't be able to meet me. Fine, I thought, we can work something else out. But she neglected to tell me if the skunk was still mine, and still refuses to return my infinite phone calls and emails. All the people involved are still waiting to see what the outcome is. Though I feel terribly for Katina that there's been an accident, she refuses to tell me anymore -- who got hurt, can I pray for her, etc. She says she's at the hospital all the time, but to my knowledge, NO hospital allows a family member or friend to stay with the patient 24/7. I've pleaded with her to simply inform me if the skunk she promised me is still mine, and if we can work something out when her crisis is over. She is intentionally ignoring me. I have another breeder who has a skunk I can adopt, but the one from Katina is my first and most beloved choice. So, I am holding up the other breeder as well, as there is only one day he can get his skunk to me.
I have pity and compassion for Katina's situation, even though I have NO idea how bad it is or who in her circle is hurt. But she won't even spare me one minute to tell me if the baby I reserved is mine, or if she sold it elsewhere. I HIGHLY recommend that everyone avoid dealing with this woman. She doesn't have her own website (you have to go through CentralPets.com to find her), and she will NOT get back to you after you've reserved any of the animals she proclaims she breeds.

Well, after many, many misunderstandings between katina and I, Katina finally came through and spoke with me, so that we could work things out like adults. I am so happy she has chosen to go this way, as I despise going through the legal system to deal with these things. I think she was going through a terrible time, and so wasn't clear on what I was trying to say to her. But she has beautifully come through, and I highly recommend her skunks! (I wish I could have one where I live!)
Thank you and bless you, Katina. And to all others, she is a great breeder - she was just going through a hard time.

How can it be a Ripoff when NO money went from hand to hand?

Derba was told that she cant have a Skunk in her state.. as you can see on this site, skunkhaven.net/StatesForm.htm.
She kept calling even after I told her I cant sale her a baby with out the state taken my skunks (killing them) and my permit from me.. They would also kill the baby she got if I was to sell her one.. She didnt care she just wanted the skunk for her. She asked me to sale her baby knowing that things could go bad. I will not take a chance on my skunks or my permit for a person just to have a skunk to say they have one.

I have sold a few babies to people that love them and can own them in the state they are in.. Sorry for her luck.. maybe she should move.
