At about 9:00 PM, my phone rang. I was a little annoyed that someone was calling at that time, but I answered the phone, and it cost me dreadfully.

The person on the phone said his name was Steve Davis. He was a very plesant sounding person. Very courtous and friendly! I finally gave him my debit card information, as he agreed to charge my account $19.95 for the information packet and postage/shipping and handeling and I was to contact him as soon as my son went over the information and checked it out.

Shortly after I hung up the phone, my PC alerted me of an incoming email. It was an email alert from my Bank that a large sum of money had just been removed from my account.

While I was reading that email, another alert email came thru from my Bank that another amount was taken from my account. This was the $19.95 that I had authorized to be taken out. At that point, I had less than $10.00 left in my account.

I phoned the Bank as early as I could the next morning and they put a stop on my debit card and issued me a new card.

I have sent these people numerous emails, and have left numerous messages on thier phone which they have never answered, but I have not heard nothing from them since that phone call. It has been two weeks and I have not received anything from them in the mail either.

My Bank is trying to get my money back, but I realize that my chances are slim and none.

I feel so very stupid ! I am a widow, and all I was trying to do was find something that I could do at home in my spare time and make a little extra money. Instead I got ripped-off of the little money that I had.

There has just got to be a way to stop these low life people from devastating peoples lives!!!!

MABS UPDATE: Don't Know if this will be of help or not... certainly do hope so....

AUTHOR: Ann - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 24, 2008

I received a phone call from MABS on Oct. 11, 08. The gentleman said that he was the CEO, and that he wanted to get my Web Site going. I told him all I wanted was my money back. He said he would check into the problem, and then ask me if I had used a Debit Card or a Credit Card. He then told me he would call me back on Monday Oct. 13, 08. On Oct. 14, 08 I recieved a call from Dan Hawkins {1-866-274-9527}. He was extmemly nice and assured me that all the money would be put back into my account within 2 to 3 days, and that the transaction would be cancelled out. I am so very happy to say that on Oct. 16, 08, the full amount was deposited back into my account. I do hope that this will give everybody some hope that they too, will get their money back.

Never give information to someone on the phone

AUTHOR: Lenny - (U.S.A.)

I'm sorry you are out your money - I hope your bank can do something. Almost all work-at-home schemes are pure scams. Especially if they want you to send money, just tell them to take the fee out of your first paycheck.

And you should NEVER give personal information (bank acct #, credit card #, etc) over the phone to someone who calls you unless you know who they are.
