I went to Mortgage Protection Group in Mesa, AZ and decided to work with them for a principal reduction loan. I paid them approximately $6000. At one point they merged with Queen Creek Mortgage. I began to receive biweekly updates that were vague and useless - all noreply - from AddVent Funding. When I would contact MPG or my agent they would always respond. Then I received an email from AddVent Funding informing me that MPG/Queen Creek is out of business, but that all is well because my file is already being processed by AddVent.

In Same Boat

I too am in the same boat. I went to the website for Advent to try and call them and saw the big gold banner on the home page. I read through it (it's a long read) and it pretty much answered any question I had - I am just grateful that they are taking my file in for free and covering the costs.
I did call and spoke to Scott, apparently he's the owner of the company and he explained in even greater detail what's going on, he only asked that I be a little patient since they weren't equipped to handle all of the QCM clients that started calling the day the letters were recevied.
I talked to my attorney and he said that I should file a claim against them since we got a letter of dissolution, but he said that the chances of us seeing a dime are very slim and not to waste too much effort on it.

Have you been to the Addvent Funding website? They have a section in there for QCM/MPG customers on their home page. It was informative and hopefully you will be able to get resolution with them.
