On or about 3/6/00 we ordered 3 32 oz Bottles of Mother Natures Powder for $40 + 9 SH=$49. This product is suppose to remove odors. We used 13-1/2 of a 32 oz bottle on a 18 inch area on our lazy bot chair. It did not work.

The invoice says to returm the unused portion in the original conatiner along with proof of purchase is returned to Mother Natures Odor Remover We e-Mailed for instructions on where to return prouct 2 full bottles and 1/2 bottle and received a telephone call from some man whoc called himself the owner. He is unwilling to instruct us on how to return the product and will not return our money.

Could you please help. This is our first adventure using the internet to buy a product and needless to say this has been a very distasteful adventure.

Kelly,

Appreciate your comments, however, just a word of caution - reporting to the Better Business Bureau does little to no good if the company is one of their customer/members. They are nothing more than a business protection racket.

It is true, that the FTC is in tight with the BBB, which troubles us no end. We have worked with the FTC and are trying to wean them from the BBB teat.

Just an idea

Working at an Internet-based company I have a suggestion for you. First of all I would like to say that all internet compaines are not irresponsible and it is very unfortunate that this has turned out this way as internet ordering is becoming easier and much more convienent (with honest companies anyeay).

Anyway, I have learned that if you so much as threaten to contact the FTC then most companies will do anything short of slitting a wrist to keep you from reporting them. Hopefully you have the invoice (recipt of the order) I would hold on to that as well as the report filed here (which proves you attempted a return within the 30 days) and call the company, let them know of your intended purpose of contacting the FTC and Better Business Bureau.

I would then also foward a copy of both documents to their lawyer or human resources dept. If you cant get anything from there you still have the proof to foward to both FTC and BBB to at least open the door to the false advertising of the company. hope this helps a little.
