I was contacted by a recruiter in late August, 2012 (Jess or Jessie Gibbons) after posting my resume on the internet after moving to xxxxxxx. I received a call from a recruiter about being a participant on a modeling reality tv show... . I sent in a $1,000 entry fee, after being chosen.. Please see the following links as my recruiter contacted after quitting b/c of not being compensated for his work. The producer has many aliases... Apparently a long history of fraud... Supposedly 900 girls are being affected by this scam in this country alone.
His original name was Dave Samson... He claimed on original website Steven Spielburg was executive producer... Now, he has a totally new site. I confronted them about my recuiter telling me that his name was David Rhys-Beauregar.  The next day the website combined the two names.  As to be David Samson Rhys-Beauregar.  On ripoffreport.com The company rebuttals and clearly states that Dave Samson and David Rhys-Beauregar are two separate people.  When I told my recruiter, Jess Gibbons that I had told them what he said, he became upset because he said that they had threatened him not to call any more girls.  His name is also listed on rip-off report in the rebuttal by the company.  He offered in voicemail to help in any way he could for me to get $ money back or to bring these guys down.  As I mentioned he said he had been threatened, and now won't return any calls or respond to emails. He gave me his personal email address etc. I am afraid they have done something to him.

Also, their address is California but ALL correspondence has been through Canada.  I hired a fraud investigator, so some of the following are her responses and research.  I have voicemails from Jess, and Dave.  I also have loads of text messages from the same phone in Canada but all from different peoople.  I had a call from a David Dordick as well. I have kept all documentation. The date I wired the money was 9/3/2012. My awards letter was received on Sept. 8th .  following is a copy of the email:

FYI this website was created between Oct. 3 and Oct. 4 after I contacted them about the scam.

My recruiter claims several colleagues quit b/c of not being compensated

Response from Criminal Attorney/Fraud Investigator.

I get different dates about the creation of the websites. AragonTD went up on March 3, 2012, DANGEROUS URL REMOVED and the other on April 5, 2011. DANGEROUS URL REMOVED In the first instance the site is hosted by Network Operations Center, Inc in Chantilly, Virginia. The more recent one is hosted by Singlehop Inc. You might want to notify the servers to have the site taken down.

In any case, you've amassed a substantial amount of data, and as you have been defrauded you should report the offense to your police as you are the victim of a fraud, and to the FBI at their Internet Crimes Complaint Center, IC3.gov. As the company is allegedly Canadian, you would also want to contact the RCMP. You should attach copies of all of your research as well as the names and contact information for your recruiter and anyone else affiliated with this.

You also want to file a consumer complaint report alleging fraud to Better Business Bureau, as it serves the US and Canada, the Federal Trade Commission. and, if you have not already done so, alert Craigslist of the scam so that they can take the ad down.

I don't know what you were looking for when you posted this question as you really haven't asked a question. But these are the organizations you should contact who are capable of taking the information that you have and running with it.

I replied:
It gets shadier every day. I now have found more links that relate to this. I am very angry. There are already alerts on Craigslist. I am worried about my recruiter as he called and left me voicemail and then we spoke. I also have a recording of so called Dave Samson on my computer that his on the Internet from someone else. He said they had threatened him (my recruiter.) now he won't respond. I know he isn't part of it bc of the info he gave me and he became very worried bc I sent a text to them about what he said. I am really worried they have done something to him. They literally changed their site in less than twelve hours after I mentioned the alias name on the phone with them. It's a cell I know bc they text. But someone different answers everytime but sounds the same. The voicemail only says I'm unavailable. HELP

Is the David Dordick that claimed to have called me deceased?? And the names on the Manitoba criminal record are women with the last name Dordick.... Marianne has like four facebook pages.... None with pics or much info..

Hi Amy,

As far as David Dordick goes, we don't have resources that would give you that information. It's only a name. There are more than a dozen David Dordicks currently living in the US and probably at least that many who are dead. ,

You are part of a mess. You have a lot of information, but nowhere to go with it, and it is over your head. By that I mean that if there were ever a job for law enforcement, this is it. Alerting the media to a fraud may be newsworthy for them, continuing to amass information can be useful, but law enforcement has the facililties to find in minutes things that you and I could search for for days. If you are worried that lives may be at stake, you need to get to the police.

Although the FBI handles internet fraud on their website, this sounds potentially big enough that you might be better taking what you have and contacting them in person (not by phone) at the Field Office nearest you. Here's their website and you can use the dropdown to find the location nearest you. You're going to want to report this to your local police too, as you're a victim of this scam, but if the matter is urgent and on a large international scale, then you need the FBI first.
