Motor Max was terrible. This is the first car I was going to buy and had finally found one at MotorMax. So I test drove it a couple of times, had a mechanic look at it (and they found some major problems like leaking oil in the engine, bad tires etc.) and put a deposit on it while I got paper work in order from the bank and insurance. I negotiated a price with them that "included" some new tires (they were not willing to fix the other problems before the sale) and finally got my loan from the bank and they had already sold the car with no notice. I then had to ask for my deposit back, they didn't even offer it back.

I am not impressed and now someone is driving a car that is leaking oil in the engine and they probably don't even know it.

" So I test drove it a couple of times, had a mechanic look at it (and they found some major problems like leaking oil in the engine, bad tires etc.) and put a deposit on it while I got paper work in order from the bank and insurance. "

So, the mechanic finds major problems and the your response is to put a deposit on the car?   Seriously?

"  I negotiated a price with them that "included" some new tires (they were not willing to fix the other problems before the sale) "

So, they were not willing to fix what you call "major problems" yet you still wanted to buy the car.  Sorry, but that just doesn't make sense.

" I am not impressed and now someone is driving a car that is leaking oil in the engine and they probably don't even know it.  "

Let's see if I'm getting this straight.   Apparently, it would be OK if you were driving around in this car with "major problems", but you feel bad that now somone else is doing that??

  This complaint is absurd.

"someone is driving a car that is leaking oil in the engine and they probably don't even know it"

You knew it and still wanted to buy the car so what makes you think the current owner isn't just as foolish?
