Mountain Auto Sales sold my son a used car that they represented was in complete working order but need $1,000 of work sutter creek California

 Mountain Auto of Sutter Creek California sold my 22 year old son a car they represented to be in 100% working order. The car was inspected and a history of the car was given out. My son paid top retail dollar for the car six weeks before he graduated college. Mountain Auto agreed to store the car until he could pick it up.

They stored the car and when he picked it up to drive 400 miles to his job in LA it was a hot day and he discovered the air conditioning did not work and the heat turned on when you pushed the AC button on the passenger side. Also the gas tank gauge was broken which they admit they knew about. This delayed him starting his new job by several days as the car was not driveable in that condition.

The repair costs were $1073 which Mountain Auto had agreed to pay for. However they have since rengeged on that agreement and Ripped my son off for the repair cost after he had just paid $7200 for a 13 year old car. They claimed  the AC problem was thre result of storing the car improperly which they admitted to doing.
