I have dealt with Mountain Rose Herbs for a number of years and always believed in their products. Never really cared much for the customer service, but put up with it because of good product even though it seemed like they were always to busy along with their customer service.
Lately orders are being sent later and later with no indication of when they would ship or if it would be anytime soon. Herbs are a time sensitive thing especially if you are making tinctures on moon cycles.
This last order of 2/16/2012 brought an email on 2/20/2012 stating my order was shipped on 2/20/2012, Presidents Day and an invoice stated that it was shipped on 2/17/2012, who knows when. Since I cant ever get them to tell me when it is really shipped and when I might expect it, I have given up.
Communication and honesty go a long ways and to bad I could never get that from them.

I, too have been a long-term customer of Mountain Rose Herbs and find their customer service to be top notch. I've even chatted extensively with their customer service representatives for up to fifteen minutes. I've always had all my concerns and questions attended to politely and satisfactorily. I live smack dab in the center of the country and my orders have seldom arrived later than six business days from when I placed my order. They e-mail me when something that was out of stock comes in, without fail. If you're making tinctures on the cycles of the moon, simply allow more time when you place your order.
