Move For Less - Discount Movers Worst move of my life!! Glendale Phoenix Arizona

First of all, the movers (4 men and a truck) were supposed to be at my house at 7AM. At 2:30, 4 men showed up in a pickup and started moving my boxes and furniture out into the yard and driveway. Then around 4PM the truck showed up. They began loading and at about 7PM decided it was too late to finish and proceed to the storage facility. They said it would be better and quicker to finish the next morning. We agreed to meet at 10AM and finish with an estimated time of 2-3 hours. I was charged $700 for day 1. The next morning when I was getting ready to go to the house, I got a call from John Martin Negrete, the owner, saying they had been waiting since 8AM. They finished loading the refrigerator and bed, which was forgotten from the previous day, onto the truck, all the while his young son (maybe 8 yrs old) was bossing the men and being totally rude as he watched. He charged me another $535.00 for 4 hours to unload and kept telling me what a break he was giving me for not charging another trip fee and for storage over night!!!!!!!!!!

When we arrived at the storage unit, there were 4 men and 1 dolly. There might as well have been 1 man, since that is all that really worked while the others watched. Then John showed up at the 4 hour mark and said I would have to pay more if I wanted them to finish. I had already complained about the lack of equipment being the reason it was taking at least 3 times longer to get the job done. He said that it didn't matter and it would cost more to finish. He then got up and the truck and started barking orders at the guys to hurry up and get the stuff off his truck. He called the man that had been in charge the previous day (yes, on the sell phone that he conducts all his business on) and was yelling and cursing at him nonstop for at least 20 minutes about the equipment. At that point (I was doing more than the movers were at putting boxes, etc. into the storage unit), I told him to just get my things off his truck and leave. He had already charged me almost $1400.00 for what should have been at the most $900. He had the guys remove my things from the truck and put them on the pavement and instructed them to NOT put anything in the units. Then he proceeded to remove all the trash and debris from his truck and leave it outside an adjacent unit. He made the guys go with him and would not allow them to stay and finish the job. I later found out that he falsely accused one of them for stealing his equipment and that he only paid them $40 each for the day.

I have moved many times, locally and cross country and this was undoubtedly the WORST move I have endured and the biggest ripoff!!!!!!!

Don't think you are getting a discount or moving for less with this conman. I would never, ever recommend this man or company to anyone!!!!!!!!!!
