Move One Degree and its owner Kevin Ebben Be Remarkably Dishonest St. Paul , Minnesota

"BE REMARKABLE" is the tagline for Move One Degree, I am here to tell you that there is nothing remarkable about Kevin Ebben or his company Move One Degree. In fact after hiring him and having no less than twenty meetings with him I felt obliged to change his tag line for him to " BE REMARKABLY DISHONEST!!" Kevin Ebben and his company are completely worthless when it comes to website design, business advisement, and marketing. 

I paid Move One Degree 8800.00 dollars up front to design a website and develop a brand for it. Only to have Mr. Ebben shut down my site because when he took it live he put it online with numerous spelling and grammatical errors. I sent this company multiple emails over the time period of a month requesting that they fix these errors. I wanted Mr. Ebben to remove one sentence he was using to explain the objective of my site, it took him a over a month to do so, and when he did he claimed that there were no spelling errors and that sentence was never on the site. I sent Mr. Ebben screen captures proving that there were in fact spelling errors, he has refused to acknowledge the facts to this day.

Kevin Ebben is not a web designer at no point in time do you ever meet the person responsible for designing the website you're paying for. Mr. Ebben outsources this part of his business. After he shut down my site I took it to, two actual web designers and they both told me the most I should have been charged for it was 1500.00 dollars, Move One Degree charged me 4000.00. Mr. Ebben claimed I was getting a discount on that price.


Mr. Ebben's claim to fame is that he created the Best Buy Reward Zone program. I actually believe him on that one because that's how this loser runs his business. Anybody who has ever shopped at best buy knows how completely worthless the reward zone program is, basically it is keep spending money and we'll keep saying you're getting a discount. Thats how Mr. Ebben defines his contracts. He claimed I was getting a discount because he normally charges his clients 230.00 dollars an hour. (more than a professional attorney)

My website was a way for NFL fans to predict the outcome of the NFL season like the experts get to do. The only idea for the brand Mr. Ebben ever presented me was a barnyard theme. Meaning that NFL experts couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with their predictions. You're reading that correctly a barnyard theme. We ended up using a bit that my friends and I do where we make fun of this guy we no because of his lack of social skills. Mr. Ebben piggybacked that bit claiming that he thought of it all on his own. Mr, Ebben was present at the meeting when I came up with the website address the motto and tagline. 

Mr. Ebben did not honor the contract we signed. He charged me 800.00 dollars for training, never trained me on anything. He charged me 1000.00 dollars for a email marketing template, I have never seen it to this day. He charged me to define a pricing structure even though I told him that my website would be free from day one. I was unsuccessful in my attempt to recoup my money via small claims court, because he had a contract signed by me acknowledging that his services were being performed at a discount. Even though he admitted to never training me on the technology, and I proved the spelling errors were there before he shut down my site.

Never will any consumer receive value from this company. Simply put they don't know what they are doing, they're not worth 230.00 dollars per hour, and they lack business ethics. If you ever come into contact with Mr. Ebben understand that all he is, is a salesman not a web designer. He is the 230.00 dollar per hour man and is "REMARKABLY DISHONEST"
