MOVEOUT.COM NATIONAL DIRECT PACKAGING, MOVEOUT.COM (AND ITS CORPORATE ALIASES) IS A SCAM COMPANY Bensalem, Pennsylvania

I ordered a large number of boxes for a scheduled move, as well as a large quantity of packing supplies. Within 20 minutes of placing the order, I heard from my moving van company, and was told that the moving van would arrive earlier than I expected, and that the boxes and supplies I had just ordered a few minutes earlier from Moveout.com would arrive after the moving van had already departed. In addition, the shipping address I had provided Moveout.com had an error in it.

By the time time I called to cancel the order from Moveout.com, only 2p minutes had elapsed since I placed the order.  I had not yet even received an email confirmation from Moveout.com that the order had been received. I told Theresa Stephenson, who answered the phone, that I had to cancel the order, and she said it could not be cancelled. She said she had no supervisor, and no superior at the firm. I began to realize that the firm had unethical business practices when I emailed another official at the firm, Ted Anderson, who emailed me back that the order had been shipped to me that morning, hours before it was even placed.

Moveout.com hides its business address; it does not provide the kinds of support and conflict resolution access that reputable firms provide.

When I clicked on link after link, I finally came to a page that said if I refused the shipment, I would have to pay to have the boxes returned - a large charge since the boxes are very heavy, and I would have, in addition, to pay a 15% restocking fee. 

This is not an ethical firm, and I recommend ordering all moving supplies through (((competitors' names redacted))), which are ethical companies.

I have filed a dispute with American Express.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
