I will never use or recommend this company again. They were the worst moving service I have ever used. I have moved accross county 3 times and locally several times, I have had very bad experiences with movers, but this is the worst. They do not tell you even if you ask in advance that they will charge you for every piece of packing material they use, and that if you wrap/pack anything yourself they will not be responsible for any damages. They broke items that were packed in bubble wrap and separated with newspaper in boxes marked FRAGILE. They dropped the dining table base and broke off a piece and made a huge crack accross the entire base. They stole a rug. there were 3 men. while one was organizing and wrapping items one was carrying boxes out to the truck and the third one stayed on the truck to pack. After about an hour, one guy was gone for about 20 mins, then the other one was gone for about 20 mins. later they all took a break, 15 mins. the paperwork on the quote said I would not be paying for any downtime or breaks. when unloading there were only two of them working at unloading for the last hour and half. the third guy did nothing by fold their blankets and play with packing materials. re-rolling it to be re-used. I paid $100 for packing supplies that they took back. This is not a big deal to me, but I paid $732. for a move that was quoted at $590. Then they did not give me credit for the $85 deposit, which is non-refundable. They take your deposit and do not disclose all the "Details" that will cost you extra for every piece of tape..at $3 a roll..they tried to charge me over $1000 for this move, But I absolutely refused to pay for all the extra charges they sprung on me at the last minute. I called the corp office and they reduced the packing materials charge but they made it clear they would not be responsible for anything. They only take CASH for the balance. The last comment from the driver was that athey normally get a tip of 30%!!! I am considering starting a moving company because if that is the kind of service and level of professionalism that the competition provides I will put them out of business!
