Moving With Us originally contacted me while I was planning my move with another company. The other company's prices seemed really high and Moving With Us offered a better quote. They made sure to point me to this site and to the Better Business Bureau to show off that they have a good rating and no reports on them. I decided that maybe I should go with this smaller company. I was told over the phone that my security deposit would be between 150 to 200 dollars. I gave them my credit card number to secure the move.

The move out went fine. I did not notice any problems until my wife and I had gotten to our new apartment. I checked my accounts and I had been charged over $600 for the security deposit. When I questioned this, I was apologized to and told that it would be refunded since it is just a deposit. I still have not gotten the refund. There will be more details on that later in my report.

Once the truck arrived at our apartment, the driver could not access the complex from one of the entrances. I told him that there was another entrance that would be usable. He REFUSED. When I talked to his dispatcher, the dispatcher said he and the supervisor were looking at a map and they both agreed that the driver would be able to come from that direction. He still refused. I told him to start moving my belongings from the closest point that he could access, (a couple hundred feet, an option available in the paperwork), he still refused. He said I had two options, I had to wait until the next day while they get a shuttle truck or I would have to find a another crew that night to move my belongings.

The driver was too impatient to stay while I had to haggle with the dispatcher. They wanted to charge me over $500 for the shuttle truck. As I felt that my belongings were being held ransom, I agreed to a charge of $350. I then made an agreement (and I have proof) that the company could charge me the $350 to my credit card once the deposit had been refunded. No one bothered to tell the driver though.

So the next day, while I am at my new job, the driver shows up at my apartment and refuses to talk decently with my wife about the agreement I had made the night before. My wife calls me because he won't talk to her. The driver also did not believe me, and so I had to call Moving With Us because no one is at work yet in the sister company the Ultimate Movers in Phoenix who the driver was actually working for. Moving With Us calls me back and I end up on a 3-way call with the driver and the company who tells him to do the move.

When I get home, I find out that the movers ruined several pieces of furniture. They had damaged some of my furniture so badly, that they threw it away instead of even showing it to us. The crew told my wife after they did it. My boxes were all crushed, and we had other people's belongings. Some of which we caught the crew in time to give back, some that we still have, and that I would like to get back to the owner.

After the move, I began seeking my security deposit and insurance forms for a claim. Every time I called, I was told that the paperwork had been sent to my email. I have no emails from them. I then called them and asked to have them sent int he mail; I was told that they would send it right away. I never received any mail. I went on a family vacation, and when I came back I called again. I was told that they had been trying very hard to get a hold of me. I had my cellphone the entire trip, with access to my email. They are LYING, they have never once tried to contact me, and I can prove it.

Under no circumstances should anyone else use this company. PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! They are liars, cheats, and have literally stolen money from me and destroyed my property. Do not believe anything they say as they will do anything to get your business and more money out of you.
