Please DO NOT send this company any deposit money for production/ or adtime purchases.  They have a slick/ aggressive sales operation and then after you make a deposit they almost disappear.  Did not complete the commercial in the time promised (not even close) - then after weeks of delays, the finished product was completely unusable (this is done purposely I believe) - they did not follow any of our production requests at all! So after you receive your useless commercial and decide you cant work with them, they chase after you for ad time Dollars (ads that were never purchased).  Complete scam here - we are also filing a lawsuit soon. Check out the many complaints - the word is getting out on Morgan Masterson, Joe Mershon and the other crooks at mpowermedia.com.

Beware!!! Mpower Media IS Scam.

Please Do your research before Using this company.
I had numerous calls regarding this company from people who found my post online.
If there is some class action against mpower media please email or call me.
david@pcmatix.com or 7738449251 David.
Please check them out on Better business bureau website..

Here is my story how i lost close to 5000 $

When I contacted Mpower media at the first time and saw your work I was hoping I can trust you to deliver high quality commercial at the reasonable price.

Unfortunately it never happened. I requested from to see the actors before recording the commercial, even my girlfriend called Matthew and wanted him to send us pictures of those actors by e-mail and he actually never did. It was still made with actors chosen by the company and never approved by me as I required.

The actor representing my company does not represent my advertising strategy at all. My company is based on young energetic people providing computer support because its their passion, my website as well does not have any middle age men, the whole point was to show people the young spirit of my company. The only option provided to me was to recreate commercial to fix mistake not caused by me but I would have to pay additional money. I dont agree with that.

Other thing is the contract I have agreed to be 165 spots per month for a 1000$ dollars per month. Now this price is no longer available but I will not pay 3000 dollars for the same amount of spots.

Now they say that since I do not like the commercial and unable to agree with new advertising costs they will not do refund.
I have tried to resolve this issue for couple of months but I did not receive any phone calls with resolution to the situation just promises and lies.

Do not trust Morgan Masterson he will just waste your time.

Please stay away from this company. NEVER EVER give them money upfront!

If you have any questions or know anything to help me please call             773-844-9251
Thank You.

MPower not a scam

AUTHOR: Jill_J - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 30, 2010

MPower Media is NOT a scam. They promise EXPOSURE, NOT SALES. If your product or service is not in demand or potentially useful it will not sell. The fact of the matter is that people are not spending the way they used to. Clients who just want to be on TV for the least amount of money possible should NOT even bother to call. YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY! MPower Media sales reps are trained to explain this to potential clients who more often than not get so excited about being on TV when they can't afford it that they agree to "remnants" spots. This is NOT a good investment. Consistent, well-placed advertising takes at the very least 6 months to start show even a small return.

I think that this business contacted Mpower for an advertising campaign, perhaps did not get the results they wanted and then decided to ask for their money back or something. Which is ridiculous, it is airtime, you cannot refund that.
I will agree that SOME sales reps would tell a client anything they wanted just to make the sale and get that contract signed. When I started I had one of my former co-workers tell me to do exactly that. When I asked him what we do when the client wants those promised things he told me "It doesn't matter, you got his money and the contract signed." That is NOT ethical but that is NOT the company policy. In fact, I was warned (by Morgan and Joe) not to waste my time bartering with clients because it will not end well.

I was trained to just talk to them and develop a level of mutual trust with my clients and look out for their interests, because as a sales rep it's a lot easier to sit back and collect commission from a satisfied, paying client than to make 10 deals that never go past the 1st payment.

The combination of poor sales reps and penny pinching clients, overly eager on both ends give this company a bad name.
