Today I got a notice from my credit card company of a large amount charged to my account. The amount was for $199.95 from MQV Connections, which I had never heard of. When I called the phone number that was listed they said I had been a member since November 2004! I denied ever joining such a club and demanded a refund and a "supervisor" named Judy promised that a refund would be credited to my account in 2-3 working days. That got me to thinking, and I reviewed my statements for the past 2 years. Sure enough there was a charge of $14.99 every month for the statements I could review. At this point I called my credit card company, who seemed familiar with MQV, and they agreed to dispute the charges for the past 6 months. The charges were from "Everyday Values", which seems to be another alias for MQV.
I am hopping mad right now, because as I figure it they have ripped me off for about
$1200!! So, I'm ordering a copy of Ripoff Revenge right now.

How did you manage to take SEVEN YEARS to discover this?
Do you just pay your credit card bill and hope for the best?
". I am hopping mad right now, because as I figure it they have ripped me off for about $1200!!"
While you're using energy being mad at THEM, leave a little room to be mad at YOURSELF.
