DJ Marcus, also know as M&R Productions, accepted a job from us to DJ our holiday event. A week before the event he starts calling and texting me at all hours of the day, telling me that I am trying to rip hin off. I already paid him in full for the event. He was such a nice person when I first talked to him, after I paid him he completely changed. It was hard for me to follow his rantings entirely but, from what I can gather he felt we were not paying him what he was worth. He never mentioned a new amount that would be what he was work, he would just say that he was not going to DJ our event unless we paid him "what he was worth". I am so dissapointed, I'll never get my money back and I am considering contacting the police because he is essentially menacing and harassing me, I don't know what to do about it. PLEASE DON'T HIRE DJ Marcus, I would hate for my experience to be one of yours.

Before you, as a client, believe any of the reports on here about me, check our website first or the company I am subscribed with "Thumbtack.com". From there, you will find my profile. I am not a bad person as this idiot is claiming. I am DJMarcus and subscribed on an online company called Thumbtack that sends us requests for services. This online company sends us these request and we send a quote. Then from there clients hire pros like myself. I usually catch fake requests because of how they operate, the words they use, type of events they create. Before I get scammed, I report them immediately to Thumbtack. Most of the fake request I get hire me outside of the online service I am subscribed. I donot know why. Maybe they do not want to leave traces of their scam. Check my website and check Thumbtack. And judge for yourself.
One time I was hired by this company who changed their company name. Because the old one has tons of negative reviews. I found that out and reported them.
Another client hired me but I found out from thumbtack that it is a fake request coming from Kuwait. I was used to charge a card that do not belong to this person. I file d a police report for this and refunded the money.
Don't just believe everything reported on here. It may ruin someone's reputation even if they were good people. Anybody can file false report on here.
