I may be totally wrong, but don't you have to be damaged to have a standing for a lawsuit?

Believing mail that you receive, how are you harmed? If you can prove you had to go to therapy because of the damage the mail did to you, then I suppose those bills would be damages.

The poster said they investigated it. How is that harm? Researching something is working to prevent harm to yourself.

Yes, people most assuredly have feelings, and it's not right to take advantage of those.

But not everything that happens that is wrong or unethical is the basis for a lawsuit.

Has the poster reported the business to governmental authorities? That is a step that should be taken to help protect others. The more the government hears about a business, the more likely they will be able to do something about it.
